Our Digital Print + Bindery Department added an intelligent saddle stitcher to one of our Hunkeler finishing lines.
The Standard Horizon StitchLiner 6000 Digital high-speed saddle stitcher has been integrated with Standard Hunkeler’s UW6 unwinder and CS6 rotary cutter for production of up to 6,000 highly personalized 8 – 120 page booklets per hour.
This system also includes 2D barcode verification, which ensures every signature is validated and recorded back to an audit trail that is redirected to Imperium as a resource document.
We also opted for a cover feeder option that allows for both static covers AND personalized covers that match back to the body signatures with the 2d barcode verification system.
