Sales Executive

Heeter is a single source provider of Print Communications that continues to attract and retain the best and brightest employees who are consistently driven to leverage their strengths. As our digital print and technology solutions grow, we are looking to add to our sales force and hire someone with knowledge of the printing and graphics industry with a desire to grow a sales territory through cold-calling, networking and telemarketing.

Tenacity, professionalism, business acumen and persistence is required, we will train the rest.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree
  • Prefer 1 – 2 years’ experience in a sales role
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Demonstrate the ability to actively listen to client needs and formulate solutions based on our business model and solutions.
  • Ability to negotiate and network.

Bindery Operator

JOB PURPOSE and FUNCTION:  

The Bindery Operator finishes high-quality products by operating equipment such as saddle stitchers, folders, cutters, die cutters, and gluers.  Sets up and operates equipment efficiently to meet or exceed customer requirements and quality standards. Monitors the product for quality while minimizing waste and rework. Responsible for equipment maintenance and maintaining a clean work area.  Troubleshoots and corrects problems in a timely manner.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES: 

  • Examines job ticket and instructions to determine run sequence and schedule.
  • Set up job to minimize downtime and waste, ensure each run meets or exceeds production objectives.
  • Prepares and checks machines for proper set up before a run begins and during runs.
  • While running jobs, quality inspect by making 100 sheet pulls. Inspect each one for any defects or imperfections.
  • Accurately documents production counts and material consumption accurately while limiting waste of material and supplies in PACE in a timely manner
  • Maintains quality and production standards
  • Effectively communicates the status of jobs and machines at shift-change to ensure smooth transition
  • Monitors and notifies manager of inventory and supply needs on a timely basis
  • Troubleshoots and corrects mechanical and/or printing problems

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support needs of the business.  May consist of assisting a peer department or function temporarily or long term
  • Follows all standard operating processes and procedures, work instructions, and ISO requirements
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
  • Observes established safe working and housekeeping procedures; promptly corrects hazardous situations

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Operator to have a complete understanding of processes / Post Press Die cutting operations.
  • Possesses Knowledge of Die Creation, Perforating, Matrix Scoring
  • Mechanical Background Inclination. Repairs
  • Have Knowledge of Incremental Measurements SAE and Metric
  • Capable of Conversion Fractural measurements to Decimal
  • Understand how each layout cuts as needed for packing, padding, folding, and stitching

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent

 

MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experience running and managing bindery machines such as die cutter, gluer, folder, stitchers required, prefer at least 2 years demonstrated success

  • Work Environment:  Heeter maintains a safe and clean front office environment and warehouse environment.  Some exposure to airborne particles such as paper dust, drying powder, ink and fumes may occur.  May be advised or required to utilize personal protective equipment including, but not limited to:  ear protection, eye protection, lifting harness, safety shoes.
  • Noise:  In a manufacturing role, moderately loud noise is a constant

Visual Acuity:  Ability to read and distinguish small print, have depth perception and color perception

Data Entry Administrator

 

JOB PURPOSE and FUNCTION: 

The primary duty of the Data Entry Supervisor is to provide support to the fulfillment team.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES: 

  • Organizes assigned work and perform data entry for large volumes of business reply mail.
  • Develop and maintain internal quality system for web based applications and customer facing sites
  • Inputs information quickly and accurately from a variety of sources into a computer database.
  • Update/maintain/correct data using web-based office technology.
  • May perform systems functions, including determining errors / corrections on company system(s).’
  • Prepares hard copy and electronic documents for Fulfillment and Mailing Department
  • Answers and respond to email and telephone inquiries and gathers information.
  • Work as team player and exhibit professional behavior and a positive attitude with both internal and external team members and with clients that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with company policies and practices.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry; experience in printing industry preferred but not necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience at providing quality and accurate data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; take initiative and work with limited supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong people and interpersonal skills with the ability to work and interact with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple requests and job expectations.
  • Ability to remain confidential and maintain confidential filing and data collection.
