Driver

JOB PURPOSE and FUNCTION: 

Responsible for driving a van or box truck to deliver and pick up merchandise or packages.  Takes orders, intercepts packages occasionally, and delivers to appropriate person and obtains signature.

SPECIFIC DUTIES: 

  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
  • Driving a company provided vehicle, deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes within the local region

Production Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE and FUNCTION: 

Primary liaison for the operation side of the client relationship for fulfillment activities including: escalation, oversight of client projects and implementations, execution of account plan activities and building and maintaining relationships with client contacts.

SPECIFIC DUTIES: 

  • Serves as primary point of contact for internal and external clients to resolve outstanding fulfillment issues, comply with customer requests and respond to client inquiries
  • Coordinates data collection from the clients to properly identify and compile accurate information detailing customer specifications and communicate the data to the production departments.  Will follow up by maintaining contact with the customer to assure production meets expectations.
  • Inspects proofs and coordinates delivery and receipt to and from the customer using couriers or the Account Executive.  Signs off and Okays proofs when necessary to assist the Account Executive and/or client.
  • Monitors fulfillment processes to see that the customer’s order is being produced on schedule and according to specifications.  Communicates any concerns and changes and seeks solutions to problems with Department Managers, the Account Executives, and customers.
  • Handles various components of monthly billing cycle
  • Drives and champions new technologies, collaborations, and improved processes to define, leverage and implement best standard work practices
  • Monitors inventory levels and expiration dates of products (where applicable)
  • Performs back up for other internal roles and other related duties as necessary

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work through customer needs and production issues through the use of analytical thinking, problem solving and expectations management. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate professional in writing and phone.
  • Knowledge of the overall printing production process desired.

Set up, operate and maintain various digital Bindery equipment including cutter, folder, shrink wrapper, UV coater, stitcher, padder etc. Produce a quality controlled product. Perform operator maintenance. Maintain a clean work area.

Operator- Fulfillment

JOB PURPOSE and FUNCTION

Fulfillment Operator is responsible for assembling projects and or paper materials that cannot be machine produced. Operators are also responsible for assisting machine operators in whatever capacity enables the job to be completed by the due date.  Fulfillment Operator organizes crews of temporary help provided by staffing agencies to meet demand of client needs.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Hand assemble job in a specific order and/or sequence to the needs of client instruction and specification.

JOB PURPOSE and FUNCTION

The Scheduler will use EFI PrintFlow technology, an ERP solution, to intelligently optimize the sequencing of jobs within the production environment within all specialties of the plant. This position includes optimization of the process, full implementation of PrintFlow and communicating challenges to create solutions. The full use of this technology will allow Heeter to work in the most profitable and strategic way possible.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Perform the set-up and configuration of jobs within the PrintFlow solution:
    • Ensure data is represented correctly
    • Apply intense problem solving skills when making scheduling decisions in real time
    • Troubleshoot future scheduling challenges and provide decision options using analysis
    • Update PrintFlow solution for future business metrics and evaluation of expected revenue vs actual
    • Ensure data from partner systems, such as PACE, is applying correctly in the PrintFlow system
  • Participate in Daily Production meeting to understand current status of all jobs in schedule and coordinate troubleshooting needed within key departments.
  • Monitor progress throughout the day and close jobs within software with actual time measures needed for the billing system.
  • Partner with sales and account management to anticipate future jobs and projects

PreMedia Production Programmer

 

JOB PURPOSE and FUNCTION

The PreMedia Production Programmer is responsible for preparing variable print orders to ensure high-quality campaigns by processing customer data, accurately, on time and to specification defined in the job ticket. Position manipulates data and sets up mail files for digital print production. Works with other members of the team to complete tasks in an accurate and efficient manner that supports operational excellence.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Follow the schedule set by the business and follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and ISO requirements
  • Process customer data, which includes but is not limited to CASS, NCOA, Presort, Merge/Purge
  • Evaluate and develop mail piece design using USPS regulations
  • Using composition software, create print-ready documents for production
  • Communicate effectively with operations and customer service to ensure job is prepared to production requirements
  • Perform QC checks on own and others work to ensure accuracy
  • Assists customers in setting up programs, files, and data for digital print production and vertical markets
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Detailed knowledge of CASS, NCOA and Presort rules and regulations
  • Detailed knowledge of USPS regulation as it pertains to mail piece design
  • Experienced in the use of GMC Inspire Designer
  • Knowledge of various printing technologies such as Xerox, HP and OCE
  • Effective time management, organization, attention to detail, oral and written communication, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, decision making and self-motivation
  • Ability to communicate at levels within the business and have an ability to explain complex data problems in a way that can be understood my less technical individuals
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple project at the same time
  • Professional and able to effectively interface with external clients and internal team

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Direct Mail or Transactional printing facility
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with PrintNet T
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with BCC or other presort software
