Key Account Manager

We are looking for a Key Account Manager who will be the primary liaison for the operation side of the key client relationship including: reporting, escalation, oversight of client projects and implementations, execution of account plan activities, building and maintaining relationships with client contacts.

  • Support, enhance and maintain communication and organization of the Key Account/Heeter partnership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for efficient two-way communication between Key Account and Heeter.

Specific job duties

  • Serves as primary point of contact for internal and external clients to resolve outstanding issues, comply with customer requests and respond to client inquiries
  • Coordinates data collection from the clients to properly identify and compile accurate information detailing customer specifications and communicate the data to the production departments.  Will follow up by maintaining contact with the customer to assure production meets expectations
  • Basic understanding of job tickets for complex jobs. The job ticket will identify specifications, design requirements, materials used, quality expectations, quantity, delivery requirements, and schedule
  • Inspects proofs and coordinates delivery and receipt to and from the customer using couriers or the Account Executive.  Signs off/Approves proofs when necessary to assist the Account Executive and/or client
  • Monitors production processes to see that the customer’s order is being produced on schedule and according to specifications.  Communicates any concerns and changes and seeks solutions to problems with Department Managers, the Account Executives, and customers
  • Coordinate all components of monthly billing cycle
  • Work with IT Project Manager to drive and champion new technologies, collaborations, and improved processes to define, leverage and implement best standard work practices
  • Monitors inventory levels and expiration dates of products (where applicable)
  • Performs back up for other internal roles and other related duties as necessary
  • Work closely with customer and internal team to identify more efficient ways that a job could be produced
  • Serves as trusted partner to the customer when the sales person is not available
  • Provide on-site support to client – estimated to be 50% of time
  • Coordinate and lead weekly production meetings regarding job status from inception to post-production; provide project timelines
  • Coordinate and lead quarterly business reviews (QBR’s)
  • Understand all programs used by both Key Account and Heeter to gather necessary data to increase productivity
  • Review and interpret reports to optimize value; review past trends to offer suggestions

Knowledge and skills

  • Demonstrate the ability to work through customer needs and production issues through the use of analytical thinking, problem solving and expectations management. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally in writing and phone.
  • Knowledge of the marketing, marketing operations or print production process desired.
  • Ability to work and communicate with vendors, co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Effective computer skills utilizing Microsoft office (Microsoft Word/Excel)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, handle interruptions, and modify plans as requirements dictates.
  • Ability to influence a customer’s decision-making process

Minimum education required

  • An Associate Degree in Business (Marketing, Communications, Graphic Arts, or Printing would be an asset) or the equivalent of experience.

Minimum experience required

  • 4 years previous experience in customer service related work environment, preferably in a marketing, agency or production environment.

Software QA

The Software Quality Manager is responsible for leading software quality assurance team activities related to the quality, reliability and compliance of our systems.  The Quality Manager will plan, coordinate, and direct quality assurance programs designed to ensure quality of product conforms with the Heeter’s policy of established quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop departmental policies and operating procedures, as needed, to effectively execute the principles and responsibilities of software quality assurance.
  • Skilled communicator in verbal, written and presentation formats critical for maintaining and growing external business partner relations.
  • Lead and develop the software system testing process, resources, automation, and measure product development health by way of periodic quality assessment reporting.
  • Responsible for assuring output from the software development process includes adequate identification and interpretation of product requirements.
  • Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
  • Assist in generation of use cases to ensure that all functional requirements of a system are captured during the product design phase.
  • Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.
  • Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if software performs in accurate and reliable way according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.
  • Recommend design improvements or corrections to software developers throughout the development process.
  • Maintain effective communication with various departments on project limitation, capability, performance requirement and hardware/software interface changes.
  • Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
  • Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.

Qualifications: 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or information technology, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience in Software Quality and experience working with embedded/server software products.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Experience in Print Industry desired
  • Proficiency with software automation requirements and frameworks
  • Technical depth in operating systems (MAC, Linux and Windows) and their related hardware
  • Possess strong cross-functional communication, interpersonal and team skills.

Production Programmer

Function

Production Programmer is responsible for setting up variable and program jobs to ensure high-quality campaigns by processing customer data, accurately, on time and to specification defined in the job ticket. Position manipulates data and sets up mail files for digital print production. Works with other members of the team to complete orders in an accurate and efficient manner that supports operational excellence.

Specific Duties
  • Follow the schedule set by the business and follows all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and ISO requirements
  • Process customer data which includes but is not limited to CASS, NCOA, Presort, Merge/Purge
  • Using composition systems, compose the final printed mail piece
  • Prepare jobs for production. Evaluates and develops mail pieces for layout and programming using Mail
    regulations
  • Communicate effectively with operations and account management to ensure job is prepared to productions requirements
  • Perform QC checks on own and others work to ensure accuracy
  • Assists customers in setting up programs, files, and data for digital print production and vertical markets
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Detailed knowledge of CASS, NCOA and Presort rules and regulations
  • Detailed knowledge of USPS regulation as it pertains to mail piece design
  • Experienced in the use of GMC Inspire Designer  Knowledge of various printing technologies such as Xerox, HP and OCE
  • Effective time management, organization, attention to detail, oral and written communication, problem solving, interpersonal skills, decision making and self-motivation
Years Experience Required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Direct Mail or Transactional printing facility
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with PrintNet
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with BCC or other presort software
  • Ability to communicate at levels within the business and have an ability to explain complex data problems in a way that can be understood my less technical individuals
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple project at the same time
  • Professional and able to effectively interface with external clients and internal team
