Heeter Achieves G7® Master Printer Certification

Customers will benefit from the best color management available today

CANONSBURG, PA (October 16, 2014) Heeter, a leading provider of print, digital, direct mail and fulfillment solutions proudly announces that it has achieved G7 Master Printer status through IDEAlliance, a non-profit organization that develops, educates and validates best practices in printing and information technology.

G7 is an international standard for calibrating printing presses and proofing systems to a common visual appearance. As a G7 Master Printer, Heeter can reliably produce high-quality printing from proof to press, regardless of press type. Achieving color consistency when printing on multiple platforms for use in various geographic regions is a critical component in brand management, and is important to some Heeter customers.

“As a qualified G7 Master printer, Heeter rigorously adheres to the most stringent proofing and printing standards. The G7 calibration method ensures Heeter clients receive the best possible color consistency and accuracy regardless of whether we use offset or digital press technology,” says Scott Heeter, company president.

Fewer than 1% of US commercial printers have achieved G7 certification.
