Gateway Health is a Medical Assistance (Medicaid) managed care plan. It does a major mailing of its Annual Notice of Coverage and Explanation (ANOC) and Explanation of Coverage (EOC) to its customers annually, as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Challenge
Approvals for these documents are often delayed, causing a rush to complete the distribution of these materials. Plus, as many as 30 variations of the materials are needed due to market differences. Accordingly, Gateway struggled to get the ANOCs and EOCs circulated on time.
