Celebrating The Anniversary of Merging 2 Great Companies

It’s been one year since Duke Print and Mail became part of the Heeter family.

As I look back on what we’ve all accomplished in the past 12 short months, I can tell you we’re very impressed.  We believe the transaction achieved exactly what we wanted it to do and more.

  • For example, Blake and Chris Leduc recognized that their customers would demand more sophisticated front end services and greater production capabilities.
  • At the same time, Tim, Kirk and I wanted to expand our business outside of the Pittsburgh region.

We understood that it would take a tremendous amount of resources to accomplish these goals on our own. The acquisition allowed both companies to achieve their goals and create a better, stronger combined company.

You might recall, last year at this time, the economy was slowly beginning to awaken from the Covid shutdowns. During the first couple of months after our combination, we were able to quickly integrate PACE, make facility upgrades, reconfigure the equipment lineup and seamlessly on-board customers. By the time summer rolled around, we had picked up some steam and we’ve been going gangbusters ever since.

In anticipation of further growth, we are embarking on an expansion of our 701 (Pittsburgh) facility along with exciting new additions of equipment in both Pittsburgh and Cleveland. This rate of growth is very exciting and also unique in the industry. Our success would not be possible without the hard work and dedication from all of our wonderful folks.

Tim, Kirk and I want to thank you for your efforts and commitment, and we’re excited about what this next 12 months will bring.
