Administration Delays Key Rule in Healthcare Law for One Year

Wow. The government surprised many people on Tuesday by announcing a plan to delay the enforcement of the health care law’s mandate that employers with 50 or more employees offer coverage or pay penalties.

Here is a good article published in the New York Times.

The announcement left unanswered many other questions about the law’s rules.

Few people saw this coming. Although maybe more of us should have since there were growing reports about the unsteady progress in setting up exchanges by an October 1, 2013 timeline.

Why Heeter follows this closely

One of Heeter’s largest customer verticals is health insurers whose businesses are greatly affected by these changes.

So we are following these changes carefully so that our clients can respond quickly when they need to.

One maxim always remains true: stay tuned for more changes.

We’ll be ready.
